well we've got the rock star in our blood
and we've got a mind to work it out
now we're working in a practice space
and we've got our own place- if only the lead guitar and bass would shut up

put our record on john- and turn out the radio

now we're working on our attitude
something like we've got nothing to prove
but the subject matter has to be finalized
and our music is quite unorthodox
a mix of funk and jazz and classic rock
it's a genre that will have to be subcatagorized
