Hard Fall 04:08
certain precaution should be taken, in this law you're so bent on breaking don't you look around, don't you act paranoid it's eye contact you're gonna wanna try to avoid that's a long ways down and that's a hard fall that's a hard fall...after all certain precaution should be taken, if it's another lover's love that you're making don't you have a conscience or a heart- they must be blown apart remember, one drop of water could splinter the wood- it could certain precaution should be taken, in this life we're all just faking don't make too much don't don't draw attention to yourself as long as you don't fail you win- it's not sin your love is an unlikely, still.

i was thinking long and hard- late new year's eve just exactly what it was you'd like me to believe and just like the wind it always blows in whatever direction, so your love goes everything's always maybe with you now reflecting on your parts- did you know your lines? and memorize them by heart, or you just pantomime just like too much rain, it overflows flooding everything, so your love goes so should i finish what i start, and just carry on i'd rather have you cold, i'd rather have you hot- than just staying lukewarm just like the sun will scorch if you get too close burning everything up, so your love goes
3.
well, oh susana- don't you cry for me i'm not the one living with pain, abuse and misery why won't you just let it? when are you ever gonna get it? o susana you won't regret it- won't you come away with me well there's a train leaving for Juarez- later tonight i just need to get a little bit more cash- and we can be there by first light i'd do anything for you, o susana I adore you, all heaven implores you won't you come away with me, my love take that ride, into the setting sun don't lose your nerve- even if you feel that car starting to swerve, every one of us is going to get what we deserve oh susana it's time to get going- you're belly is starting to showing and now my brother's suspicion, is like a tornado blowing i'd do anything for you, o susana I adore you, all heaven implores you won't you come away with me, my love take that ride, into the setting sun ain't that right, your love is a setting sun

Take 03:58
let's stop the kidding around- all joking aside, it's starting to grow old when i think about it seriously- the lies i want to believe are the ones I have told so take- take what you want i didn't have a right to it anyway take- take what you want take it all and lay it to waste sometimes, it's good to bleed- it's reassuring to know that the heart still works your love is a drug that i need- i just wish the last hit was as good as the first it's hard to love me on a day-to-day, I surprise myself with the stupid things i say i believe, help me in my unbelief- Lord won't you hear my this one time i pray
5.
sometimes i get this feeling- like i'm the only one around and when my mind starts to reeling- i push the voices into the background figure it out, figure it out- a way to keep you from leaving wrestle with doubt, wrestle with doubt- but i keep on believing but i don't know why, or what i'm suppose to do thank you for just listening, sorry for the gag and the tie to the chair but you're such a good listener followed you home from work- for the past month, or maybe it was two to see if this love was true figure it out, figure it out- a way to keep you from leaving wrestle with doubt, wrestle with doubt- but i keep on believing but i don't know why, or what i'm suppose to do and now it's time for the cleansing- time to purge all our sin, and what we have been and purify with fire- with matches and gasoline finally we will be free i figured it out, i figured it out- a way to keep you from leaving i wrestled with doubt, i wrestled with doubt- but i kept on believing and now, now i know what I'm supposed to do, what i'm born to do, what I'm suppose to do

about

Figure it Out is the first studio release from Knathan Ryan & the Silent Ks. If you’re at all familiar with Ryan’s previous work, the only similarity you’ll hear in this EP is his voice. The Silent Ks (Fred V, Cooper Smith and Singer) sound as if they’ve been performing with Ryan forever. And while Ryan has performed in and around the Seattle music scene for at least a decade, his work with the Silent Ks brings his master songwriting skills to a higher stage.

Straightforward rock and deeply dark lyrics — this is the intersection where great rock & roll songs are made.

This EP — five great songs — is a leap forward for the Seattle music scene. It’s about time some hard rockin’ twang got back in this city. These songs — these stories — will keep you coming back for more. Thankfully, this is only the beginning for Knathan Ryan & the Silent Ks.

Knathan Ryan Seattle

Rock? Country? Twang? Rockabilly? Gospel? Garage? Yes. His influences range from his love of Memphis' Sun Studio sound from a very early age, to country, and the Seattle sound of his formative years and are the foundational building blocks to his sense of style. These influences are heard throughout his solo released work and in his bands The Bruised Hearts Revue, SonicDuo and The Silent Ks. ... more
